How PhoneGuard Works

PhoneGuard is a simple, privacy-focused security app that works entirely on your device:

Local Processing: All motion detection and alarm functions happen locally on your iPhone
Motion Sensors: Uses your phone's built-in accelerometer and gyroscope for motion detection
Audio Alerts: Plays alarm sounds through your phone's speakers when motion is detected
Apple Watch Integration: Sends notifications to your paired Apple Watch using Apple's secure communication protocols

Data Connection

The only data connection PhoneGuard uses is between your iPhone and your Apple Watch:

Device-to-Device: Communication happens directly between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's encrypted protocols
No Internet Required: PhoneGuard works offline and doesn't require internet connectivity
No Third Parties: No data is sent to any servers, cloud services, or third-party companies

Permissions

PhoneGuard only requests the minimum permissions necessary for its core functionality:

Motion Sensors: To detect when your phone is moved while locked
Audio Playback: To play alarm sounds when motion is detected
Apple Watch Communication: To send notifications to your paired watch

You have complete control over PhoneGuard:
